Anyone have any reports or advice for this lake for summer? I've only been once, and it was in early spring. Thanks in advance.

Well I guess I will give a report after I go next week. Just wanting to get an idea if I should fish the creeks or the main lake. Thanks anyway.

We went about a month ago. It was slow but the fish we caught were decent chunks. We fished the whole main lake and into the creeks. The creeks are hard to fish because there are tops floating all in the trees and you can't get thru. There are some spots where you can get in and we caught a couple flipping. Its a nice little lake and when the timber gets a little thinner it will be real good.

I fish there quit a bit and my favorite is flipping the grass on the main lake. I use jigs and brush hogs, brown and watermellon red. I do pretty good in deeper water on the grass lines, 10 to 15 foot. Last week I caught 3 in the five pound range and several smaller ones. I fish back in the creeks some, but like the grass on the main lake mostly.

If I ain't fishing, I ain't happy.
But mostly I'm happy.
I love being retired, the check is in the mail.
