I went and fished marine creek this morning, It wasnt a good fishing day for me Im sure its happened to everyone. You know where you get the bill dance curse lol. I lost 3 baits in a hour and a half. but i did get this trophy right here. After battling this guy I decided i was to tired to fish and went home.

I'm going to try it again it just wasn't my day last Sunday ha-ha. Truth is though I think the better fishing is probably toward the ten mile bridge road cause there were about 10 boats there and only one was in sight of the boat ramp. I don't have a boat so I cant say for sure.

The tcc side is pretty active,I suggest trying there, close by the disc golfing hole next to a large tree stump
There's always something biting.

As you leave the ramp the point that separates the skiing area from the main lake on the far side (not TCC side) holds fish. they will sometimes stack up there on the rocks in deeper water. Also by the dam can be good. What i have found is that they prefer very small baits. Chartruesse green pepper Ring fries produce as do hags tornados.

That area was pretty much lined up with other folks fishing, I was at what looked like the old boat ramp. I was a little surprised at the amount of people there at 7 in the morning.

I've never done very well by the old ramp for whatever reason. looks fishy as her but never get bit. The opposite side of the cove produces some but its a tough little lake. In the early spring go all the way back up in the creek arms and you can catch them on white jigs in about 2 foot of water.

I'm 0/2 at marine creek now, I did get a bite but it was a very committed one on a 4 in. fluke with and grey fluke with some silver glitter in it. I think I'm gonna pick up some smaller flukes and try and again maybe rigged on a double rig.

I've only used live worms on marine creek. But then again it's a tough lake. too much activity sometimes
There's always something biting.
