Fished from 6:30 to noon today and had a ball. Caught 4 fish on top water, and I'm just getting to feel comfortable fishing top water. Had one swirl at it then follow it 10 feet and come completely out of the water. Biggest of the 4 was a 4 1/2 lb fish that put up a big time fight. Caught 1 on a fluke and two on a swim bait. Lost the 2 biggest fish of the day on the swim bait, tried a new type hook and won't again. Ray Bob is getting real clear and it's alive.

I've had luck with a Spook in the morning and a 4 1/2" Roboworm dropshot when the topwater bite stopped.

Go watch the most recent episode of Honey Hole. at the end of the show, he shows the three spots where he fished during the show.

I fished it last weekend for the first time ever. We ended up boating 13 fish. But how the heck do you fish that lake without losing tons of lures? Those zebra mussels killed us.

Rain helps run off, nutrients, oxygen, bugs & critters in the water.

The fish are moving shallow!! they will be in the weeds if the lake rises high enough to put the weeds under the water the fishing should be unreal, this has happened before very good fishing after a large influx of water.
