That soft bodied square bill looks pretty neat.

If the Minn Kota new TM is no quieter than the remote controlled Motor Guide 24V, then it is a bomb. The electric guide motor was flat out noisy. I like the automatic deploy and the ability to adjust the depth but, I don't think I would invest in this product after my past experience.
God Bless

Perfect trolling motor. Especially for an old structure fisherman like me.

I like it, but I'm really hard on the trolling motor, doesn't look beefy like the Foretrex.

I am very hard on a trolling motor( just ask my partner) and my Terrova has held up great. They are very tough, I have ran ashore in the rocks, hit stumps at full speed with nothing but scratches. Almost all of this happens in shallow water and now that they have trim it should solve 90% of that. I did destroy my first one but that was because it self deployed at 50mph. I got a ram lock for it and have never had a bump. My only gripe has been that it is a pain to deploy. That problem is fixed.
And trust me Spot Lock is the bomb!

I am excited about the new lews cranking rods. I have no idea how they are going to act or about the sensitivity or anything else but the reel seat looks really comfortable for throwing big crank baits all day. Wish they had these a few months ago when I discovered the 10XD!

The Ray marine depth finders have my attention. Seem to be getting a lot more attention here lately.

The Orochi XX series are $265-299 each. Nice thing about it the way they are designed so that you can get by with fewer rods as their models are more versatile in terms of being suited for many presentations. That is a trademark of JDM type rods.

Also just saw that they're coming out with a baby size of the SK structure jig. Been waiting on these for a while, been such an amazing skipping jig even in the 1/2 oz size that I couldnt be more excited to use the 3/8ths. Watch out dock dwellers!

You seem to know a bunch about Megabass.

have you used Dobyns very much? I wonder a direct comparison Dobyns Champ & Extreme vs. XX?

how do the Destroyer and Evolution high end rods compare to XX?

thanks!
