I headed to the lake for a few hours this afternoon. I fished live minnows and did pretty good. Caught a few catfish, some sand bass and a big large mouth bass.

These two were hungry.


Then I caught this big guy.



All were thrown back to swim again. It was a good day on the lake!

You didn't happen to be at Lake Arlington last Friday night at about 10:00 did you? With a buddy in another Kayak?

It pulled a little drag but didn't pull me around. I caught it on 6lb test line and a med/lite pole. I was afraid it was going to snap the line.

That was not me last Friday.

Nice job! I launched from Bowman Springs around 530pm and just did some paddling, was getting choppy with the north wind.

I was planning to go Saturday morning. I might meet you Friday evening. What time do you plan to aunch?
I could be there by 6:30 or so. If we get a lot of rain I vote Simpson.

We wound up catching a few. I broke off a very big fish once it got dark by the discharge...

Jcrash probably around 6 or 615 and Simpson sounds good. Won't be staying too late hitting Southlake early Saturday.
