I have a 2012 Navionics Premium card and several lakes are not included (e.g., Winnsboro, Athens). I realize that some lakes are too small to be included, but I would have thought that Athens would be. Does anyone know if the Navionics updates include new lakes such as Athens? In addition, is the $99 update charge worth it or should I buy a new card? Many thanks.

Get the 99.00 updates, if you go to the Webapp on the Navionics website you can preview all the lakes and click on the Sonar Icon for the High Def Sonar Charts layer. Basically Updates becomes a Navionics + after its registered and you can still use your old chip in another unit

Thanks. I'll take a look at the list of lakes and get the update.

Since the updates will create you a new Nav+ chip.. be sure when you check out the webapp go to the Nav+ and look at all of the added contour lines you get by toggling the Sonar Icon that KirtH mentioned that you did not get with the current Premium chip.
