I'll take this fishing partner over any of you old farts any day!!!  Didn't even make her get up early. Got on the water by 8:30am, fished until 11:00am, loaded up and came home by lunch. Kept 26 nice keepers with very few dinks caught, and several in the 14-15" range. Funny thing was, she kept asking why the fishing was so slow.  She had no idea how good of a morning that was. I think I ruined her on schooling sandbass. lol! This was Monday. All off of brush piles. She fished with Mr. Crappie's pink and chartreuse Shadpole and Joker on an 1/8oz head, while I caught mine on JigUm's Electric Chicken and an orange/chart/orange. Boy, do they grow up fast! This one just turned 15, but she's still a daddy's girl and quite a fishergirl!

Those are some hogs!!! Now you just have to worry about keeping her away from boys that bass fish!

Now you just have to worry about keeping her away from boys that bass fish! not true... if I'd have started bass fishing before I met my wife, I would have never been able to afford a girlfriend to start with!  tacklewarehouse.com is my mistress ...last night I was sorting my soft plastics in the kitchen sink by buoyancy/rate of fall and rebagging them accordingly, and testing some on a shaky head with a pole when my wife came home... lots of laughs. Luckily she supports my horrible addiction. The cats and dog were less amused by it when I was teasing them pitching around the house and getting them to chase a 1oz weight! It could be worse though... I could be a golfer or something instead...
