I recently went catfishing and stopped and bought my usual lewis king punch bait. ive never had a problem with it in the past. this time when I got to my spot and when to dip my trebles in it, it wouldn't stick at all. it was soft and seemed like it had water or something in it. I went on to the house and threw it in the freezer for the next mornings trip. when I got up it was frozen. by the time I got to the lake it had thawed and wasn't sticking again. granted I could go to lewis since I live right up the road from him, but Id like to see if theres something I could do to help myself. thank you in advance.

Cat tails if you have them. Non allergenic pillow fill if you don't or mix some cj's in with it

Maybe try puttin a little flour to thicken it up?

So CJs is supposed to be full of sticks.(quality control) CUSTOMER SERVICE LOL finnaly sent me a replacement after looong discusion here(SAID HE WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT) didnt do anything till I posted complained on FB. Just tried the replacement couple weeks ago full of sticks punch a hook in cant pull out gets hooked on sticks )break line and cut fingers)

I have been using Danny kings, sudden impact and cj's for the last couple of months. Haven't had any problems with cj's. I actually put some in the dk to stiffen it up when it got hot. Just bought five gallons of cj's if that says anything!

I found a stick in my CJ's. Pulled it out and still got bit on every cast.

If it woulda been just one I wouldnt said a word this gal is full of um (quality control LOL why is lumber in it)

If its thin add flower or cat tails If you dont have cat tails use the lint out of your dryer.

Worms but when perch get bad I will try punch Big Marvs (wish he still sold it in Waco)is the best Ive tried, long story why I tried CJs.. Guess I Must just be lucky out of 2 gallons both un fishable. 1st one couldnt punch a hook in it with a jackhammer (probly why people use it to stiffen up loose baits) now 2nd gal full of sticks ??????????????????????? and pro anglers postin bout QUALITY---------------------------------------------ONLY baits on the market with quality control and excellent customer service

I prefer SURE - SHOT, the only problem I've had with it is when I run out lol

throw Lewis King bait away and go to Danny Kings Punch Bait. Danny King back his word if it dont stay on the hook.
