Almost every time i'm at my dads house I head down to Denton creek below the dam at Lake Grapevine(sometimes my dad comes too) Denton Creek is less that a quarter of a mile from his house so I fish there all the time. This post will contain updated fishing reports for the creek as well as what flies are working with what fish. It will also contain pictures of the fish that are caught. I will try to update this post frequently and if you have any questions please ask.
Here is the first report:
06/28/2014
Today the fishing was slow i caught 1 bluegill and 3 green sunfish in about 15 minutes all on a small white popper with a red belly and a red mouth. after the 4 fish i didn't get any bites for about 10 minutes so i changed to a white woolly bugger and after another 5-10 minutes, nothing. After switching to a brown foam hopper i got a few bites but couldn't set the hook so i packed it up and headed home. the water clarity was pretty decent in the shallows but as it dropped off in the area i was fishing you could not see a thing below 2 feet. I saw a decent sized bass cruising around the rocks by the bank, but every time i tried to cast to him he would casually turn around and swim away.
Picture time:

The whole little drain outlet area is full of green sunfish and on a good day you can catch them on every other cast! not very many bass in this part though but it's a blast to catch one when your targeting sunfish.
That's all for now more to come soon!
