Algae bloom not good for fishing?

So super moon, neighborhood pond. Usually catch a few. Been sitting here 4 hours. Only a few nibbles. Wondering does this algae bloom that came up within a week or two have anything to do with it. Please help.

As long as you don't see a bunch of floaters then you should still be good.

The algae can suck out all the oxygen out of the water and kill the bait fish if it gets too bad.
