Going to rent a house on copano bay in Aug. Can someone tell me what to throw from the dock. I want some fish to eat, but any bite will plese the kids.

live shrimp under a cork. Dead shrimp or cut bait on a bottom rig.

If possible get you a half dozen or so of live mullet. Chunk it out there with a decent weight and let it soak. It's like candy to reds if they are in the area. Have fun.
