Looking at a 2009 Haynie Cat,21 ft. with a 2009 Merc Optimax 150 h.p. I am looking for a smooth dry ride that will get shallow. The smooth dry ride are the most important. Draft of about 10 to 12 inches is second. Will a cat hull give me that smooth dry ride i am looking for or is a v hull better. What is everyone's imput on Haynie boats. I hear they are top of the line. Next. What about the Merc Optimax 150. Is it fuel injected or carbed? Looking for a good hole shot with a good cruising speed. Will this motor work? Thanks!

Should do everything you want. Opti is direct injected.
