I've been looking at it on the map, but never fished it.

Looks like it would be great for kayaks if it has water in it.

They have re-stocked it and there are smaller bass there. They just need time to grow And for people not to leave the gates open and drain the big fish out again.!!! thumb

Yep, according to a thread in the bass section, last post was I believe a year ago, the restocking they had to do after the accidental draining is beginning to show some positive signs as some reported to be catching several 2-3 lbs. So given that was a year ago, perhaps now there are some consistent 3-4 lbrs in there! It was explained that the drainage probably ported all those nice bass to Ray Roberts as they went down river into that lake. And seems like Raybob has been a better quality fishery last couple years!! Anyhow, I'm definitely going to go give it a chance - maybe next week sometime. There's also a lake called Katy Lake on down the road near St. Joe's. Looks like a lilly pad lake smile Might be worth checking out as well.
