 One more trip to Colorado

Took the family to southwest Colorado for the long weekend and did a little fishing as well. Got my 5 year old into a few brookies. He only wanted to fish for about 15 minutes but I considered this a win.  I fished a little myself in one of my favorite spots.     Overall a great weekend! Hope to get back there next year.

Wow!
I have to Colorado twice to trout fish but it was during spring break and covered in snow. Need to get up there in the summer time when there is something to see besides white everywhere. The fish are pretty but I love the river shots - nice work. ( I'm envious of your son catching brookies to ).

Awesome pictures!!! Great work Dad!! Your son will have these memories the rest of his life. At that age the normal child only likes the "catching" part but that 15 minutes of fishing is like a half day in kid time. And you won't even be able to measure the effect it will have on his life until he's 25.
