All Daiwa baitcaster made in last decade have a built in feature to where you simply push back up on thumb bar after a cast and reel is engaged without the need to turn reel handle after a cast. It is super easy to use and is a DESIGNED feature. Really makes one handed operation of your reel super easy. designed to help with flipping presentations.

H2O Xpress reels have the same features. Using the button to engage the reel rather than the handle.
