What is y'all's favorite line for dock shooting? Braid, mono, what brand, color, lb test?

Any mono you can see In 6 lb. 6 lb allows for good distance. On many bites you will see line jump. Many bites are not felt. I now have tangerine on, but have mostly used yellow in the past.

Hi Vis 6lb mono. Use what is most comfortable for you and comes off the reel easily so it can unspool easily while shooting.

Also when dock shooting it's important to use new line. If it's been on your reel a while it tends to not come off the spool as well, which is critical when shooting docks. Dock shooting is hands down the most fun way to catch crappie in my book.

I don't live for the thump, but I sure do like it.
