I just got a ranger z521 and I have a hummingbird 998c si combo that im trying to hook up, my problem is finding the right way to mount my si transducer. on my old boat I was able to just mount it straight to the transom but on the ranger there isn't really a place to put to the mount(that I know of). does anyone have any ideas, or suggestions? pictures would also be a big help!

I understand that there is a way to attach the transducer to my atlas 6" jackplate but I think I would have to counter sync the bolts, but im hoping that there is an easier way!!

thanks for the pictures! I am a little confused on the jackplate mount though, I have an atlas 6 inch but mine looks like it sticks out more and is a little different, I also have a plate under the jackplate as well. any ideas?

Since you have a hole shot plate, you can attach the transducer to the center of that using the Transducer Shield and Saver TM-HDsi with wedge.
OR just use the included transom mount and make a spacer to go between that and the plate.
You want the bottom of the transducer parallel with the water's surface at idle speed.

If you want the side mount type, just contact Transducer Shield and Saver, give them the info of your setup, and you will get the correct parts for the installation.
