I spooled line on my curado I yesterday and the i noticed that the line gathered up on the right side if the spool. Why does it do that?

Caused by pawl wear. Replace the pawl now or pay more to rebuild the level-wind, later. If it's a new or lightly used reel, this can also be caused by the knot you tied to the spool. Was it up against one side or the other? This can cause the line to improperly load to that side of the spool, especially if you begin reeling the line on in line with that knot. Knots should always be around the center of the spool.
Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

Sometimes if you simply hold the reel tilted or over to one side it will bunch up on one side.
Keep it centered as you spool and it will be even.....unless there is pawl wear.
