Custom angle rods makes a rod for the 10xd crankbait. It's in their Hot Rod series blanks. It handles all the big crankbaits with very little stress on you. Check them out at www.customanglerods.com +1

I would be willing to show up with the Hook Spit magnum crank bait rod and take a look with an open mind at everyone's entry.
I haven't tried all of the rods listed in this post, but of all the ones I tried, none were perfect at: 1) launching the bait far enough to get the bait in the strike some for long periods. 2) working the bait properly without wearing the fisherman out. 3) fight the fish properly when you get a really big girl on those treble hooks.
Ours is a composite rod so it gives you the benefits of both a glass and a graphite rod. The blank is a high-tech / high-modulus composite that you won't get in a cheap rod.
I took all the good features from all the rods I tried and this Hook Spit magnum crank bait rod is the combination of everything I liked.
There are other good quality rods out there, no doubt. Working with Hook Spit has taught me what a good rod really is. At $179, it's priced very fairly for the high quality and awesome performance that you get from Hook Spit.
Not sure what this experiment is trying to show or prove, but I honestly think the Hook Spit "10XD Rod" will prove to be the best for huge crank baits.
Ken is a great guy. He will put together a great show/video. I'd love to be invited to the rod comparison.

You should also consider the Castaway Skeleton XDD 7'6" Crankbait Rod. It is specifically designed to fish/cast the 10XD crankbait. Is has sufficient backbone without the tip being "too limber" or: "too mushy". It has a reasonable price and the company is here in Texas! my vote

The Veritas 7' 6" Winch Series does a great job with the 10XD. I can cast it a mile and on target, and it pulls that big bait well and with enough sensitivity to feel the bottom.

Halo 10xd rod works well. I bought this one and it's pretty good. Also makes a great trap rod for ripping grass. Great warranty too!

I have a Dobyns 806CB. I'm sure some of the other rods are as good but can't imagine one any better.
