I just got a ranger z521 and I have a hummingbird 998c si combo that im trying to hook up, my problem is finding the right way to mount my si transducer. on my old boat I was able to just mount it straight to the transom but on the ranger there isn't really a place to put to the mount(that I know of). does anyone have any ideas, or suggestions? pictures would also be a big help!

alright I have an atlas 6 inch hydraulic jackplate but I saw on the transducer shield and saver website that the bolts that are on the jackplate might have to be counter sunk is there an easier alternative?

maybe longer bolts? not sure why they would need to be sunk unless it was to make up the difference in length.
