Caught these two on a green popper in a cove. Used Cablea's Stowaway 5wt with 10lb mono, they were eating something on the surface so i started to throw the popper and let it float there until one of them gulped it down. Fishing was terrible until the carp came and these two made my day.

Thanks, they are a thrill to catch on a fly rod, listening to that drag is a sweet sound. You can see the little green popper in the second photo on one of the rings.

Nice and Nicer! Showing my ignorance, what/where is "PB"?

In this life there is fly fishing and tying...and then there is all that other stuff in between that doesn't matter.

I'm guessing by the recent large rains, the hatch I witnessed over the weekend and the fact he caught them on top I should have been out there this weekend. Carp on top. DARN!
