Well it has been back to work since i returned from vacation.I could have stayed there forever but ran out of money lol. The last 10 days been fair to great with almost all fish coming in on topwaters. The fish are chasing fry all over the lake. Hearing lots of reports of the fish at the dam but have not had to go that far to get some action. Alot of smaller fish have joined the party but some days a few hawgs show up and makes things awesome.Does seem the hawgs are in deeper channels or points REAL close to deep water. On sunday andre had a 6 year old boy catch a 19.2 pounder on top...epic! im sure he will post a pic up smile the fishing most day just good not epic but as always the next cast could be the one smile
do have a few pics heck im still working on all our vacation stuff rolfmao

bad day for this guy i guess...

trina didnt make the pic

A 19.2 should be the new youth lake record by a few pounds if it didn't get eaten. Record fish taste just as good as non-record fish though. Don't ask me how I know.

Very nice! I was wondering where you've been! Where's the wreck? I'd like to show my boys this weekend when we take a break from the wake board...

Here's Daniel with his toad. 37 long, 21 girth. I can only imagine what this fish weighed 2-3 months ago. He did require some assistance from dad to get it to the boat. We were in very shallow water...the fish made some fast and furious runs before it met the net!

MID-JULY UPDATE...
"How's Fishing?" Although we are having luck and getting some caught it is not super easy most days here on Texoma. All the factors we call mother nature have impact on fisheries. The stripers are running so fast chasing shad that it helps to be where the action is and knowing where that is always a challenge. Still scattered schools all over the lake. Best thing is to be at the right place at the right time. Live bait, trolling or lures all are producing and also alot of grinding when and/or if they don't feed. This heat has slowed the topwater past couple days "hope this front brings it back" and finally pushed the action out deep. We been seeing 10-50 fish a trip depending on the day. Big fish on top have helped alot the last 2 weeks and with slab runs forming it will heat up soon. It seems things still just later this year.
this "thing" ate a slab.

Last few weeks i have had some really awesome kids and i just enjoy watching them wrestle these stripers such fun!
