Big Bass Fishing Mexico with Mike Stobaugh (Txtoby). He now lives in Mazatlan and will take care of your every need. He is available for fly in customers on both lakes.

Please PM. me for Mike's information and I will put you in touch with him for details and pricing.

I am available for your drive in trips on El Salto, Picachos and Oviachic. The cost for 2 fisherman is half the expense of a 3 day fly in trip and we fish for 6 days out of my Skeeter.

Lake Fork guide JW Peterson is your hook up for both lakes. I went with him to El Salto last February .
JW and I are going to Picachos on the 25th of this month. JW has worked with Ron Speed outdoors
At El Salto for over 20 years . Ron speed has A camp at El Salto and I believe the only camp open at
Picachos. http://www.lakeforkproguides.com

Anglers Inn. They also now have a lodge open on Pichacos. I've been to Salto 10-times now, and have used Anglers Inn every time. TOP NOTCH service!

You sure Chapman has a "lodge" at Picachos?

That's not a lodge. You'll be coming out of Mazatlan. Speed is actually setting up a lodge.

Anglers Inn closed their operations at Mateos. All of the equipment was moved to the new lake. I was under the impression that the new lodge was done, but if not done yet, it will be soon! It is being outfitted with everything from Mateos.

We were the first group down at Picachos and I can assure you that the numbers of fish caught will be through the roof. You will catch fish until your arms tire. Big fish are harder to come by down there so if you're a trophy hunter, Picachos isn't for you..... Yet. Another group of friends just came back and reported the same. The size of the fish you are hearing about in the marketing is a bit inflated. It's a whole lot of 1 to 4 pound fish with some bigger fish being the exception. There was no Angler's Inn when we were there, it was only Speed Jr. It's a really cool situation where they control the shoreline around the lake essentially through one gate. It has promise because of the amount of control the local government will have regarding the fishing pressure.

Ron Speed Jr. is who we used and he's a man of integrity. I would do a split trip to Salto / Picachos if I were you so you get some crazy Picachos numbers and have some bigger fish from Salto mixed in.

Feel free to PM me if you want to talk to someone who just got back a few weeks ago.

JB

There are so many ways to get there and they are all great trips. Everyone I deal with down there is reliable and will go over and beyond to make sure you have the best experience possible and catch the most and biggest fish possible. There are no bad outfitters on either lake.

Anglers Inn does have accommodations on the lake. Cabins sleeps two with living room, small kitchen with stove, refrigerator and etc.. Meals are provided in the package.

These are all your choices and you can weigh the options to go the best route for you.
- Economy route which is half price considering the number of days of fishing. You may drive down with me and fish for 5 to as many days as you can stay.
- Executive Route - You can fly down and I will drive it so you can fish out of a 20 ft. Skeeter.
- You can fly into Tucson, AZ. and make part of the drive to save some cash but still 6 days of fishing.
- You can book with Mr. Speed and fly down. You can fish both lakes if you like.
- You can book with Angler Inn and fly down. May also fish both lakes. Price is less.

We pick you up at the airport and drive 50 miles to Nogalas, Az. to spend the night. We will cross the boarder the next morning and be fishing by 3:00 that afternoon.
