If you bring a boat where is the best place to put in?

Raptor may jump in here but for a free launch, the Smith Co. #2 ramp just off 155 on CR 1263 (Cherokee Trail). Then there are 2-3 pay launch's right there in Saline Bay. I thought Raptor said the EBAY launch would be available but he needed names to give Security.

There is a store just right down the road from Emerald Bay that sales bait, I think. Its on the other side of the Saline Creek bridge from Emerald Bay. I don't buy minnows ever. So I don't know all the places that have them. Make sure you don't go under the Emerald Bay bridge that goes over the canal, they have a BS sign up there that says you are not allowed in there. Some old codger golfer will threaten to call the cops on ya.

There is a sign on the first bridge, however, that canal is Neches river property and I have never heard of any golfer having a problem with a boater. I live on that canal and see bass fisherman in there all the time.
