I have a lot of the old green Curado's that still work. But want to buy 2 new reels. What's yall thoughts on the new Curado? Same thing goes for the 13 A reel, any thoughts on it? Thanks

The new Curados are built to last. They are solid an super smooth.

I would stick with the curado. I've had my E series for 4 or 5 years and it still performs great. On top of that I have 2 of the Curado 200i's and I love those even more. You can't go wrong with a curado.

Reels are just like cars. They can all last a long time if you take care of them and service them like you are supposed too. I would also go with the Curado over the 13 reel. The 13 reels havent been around long enough to tell if they will be proven winners or not.

I own many Curado Es, one of the new I Series, and a 13 Fishing Concept A. If I were to buy another reel today It would be another 13.

I'd go with a Curado

I went with the Curado 200I. The 13 does look good, but hard to beat a time proven Curado. I have a few of the E series and the new I series. The I series takes a little adjusting but it's awesome once dialed in.

I still use several old Bantam type Curados as my everyday reels that gotta be close to twenty years old. I will be getting one of them new ones myself very soon.

Just bought a Shimano Caenan. I returned two Curado I's due to problems. Love my Caenan but I read it doesn't have much power. Haven't done any field tests yet.

Not wild about the new curado i's, not as good as the E series. I do like the 13's size and so far it has held up to some nice fish. Time will tell, but the 13 has my vote for now.
