 Older MK Riptide TM problems

Okay, so my bow mount trolling motor will not lock in the down position. The locking pin moves easily, and there doesn't seem to be any binding going on. lubed everything up anyway, and still no change. Any ideas?

something has the mount in a bind..start by loosening the front two bolts
