I am going to lake limestone this weekend and I am open to ideas of where to catfish. We have a lot of land on the south portion of the lake about midways from the dam to the other side of the lake. We will fish with shad, stubbies stink bait, chicken livers, and chicken breast. Do you think they will be shower or deep? last time i tried deep with little success and was told I should have gone shallow. Will anyone else be out there this weekend?

I fished in shallow and deep last two weekends not much luck I might be out there this weekend depending on the warden and wind. It can get quite rough out there with 15mph winds

Good luck Waco! I have not had great luck out there but I know guys that do. Most do well near thte bridge in the north end of the lake. I stopped going after being checked by the game wardens 6 times in 5 trips up there. The one day I got into crappie, she pulled up, hassled me for 20 minutes and then the fish wouldn't bite any more. They can keep that place.
