I prefer Talon's Flutter Spoon....great colors and good hooks out of the package.

I prefer the ones made by Joe Spaits at the Tackle Factory on Hwy 17 right next to Little Mustang Creek. The 5 inch one would probably be best for Smallmouth.

Recently read about the new Magnum Spoon. Apparently it's like throwing a hubcap with a treble hook on it, and fish actually go for it.
