The Emerald Bay ramp is the other one. The ramp where the sailboats are is the marina. The marina is not a part of Emerald Bay. Hope this helps.

I'll make it out there. It will be good to put faces to screen names, and hopefully catch a few fish. I'll mail my money Monday. Palestine is a little bit of a drive, so I will take my car and not the boat, so hopefully someone has an open backseat. I can pull the boat, if I have to. I can bring something, just send me a pm.

I'll be here, since I live just around the corner. Sounds like a super event.

I have a 18' pontoon I'll be using and have a couple of empty seats. I'm new to Crappie fishing on the lake so my guests will need to have some good piles or locations in mind. I guess we could just follow Jacob around since he is the Crappie magnet. smile

Kudos to Raptor for volunteering to put this shindig on.

Gonna be lots of fun.

I think my dad is going to go with me, so I will bring the boat. I have never fished Palestine, so I hope someone won't mind me fishing in their hip pocket...

Jeff, you can follow me around to a few spots. As I am very proficient in finding & eliminating the EMPTY brushpile's, you'll at least be able to see where NOT to fish. LOL!

Tom Moss, please post your screen name so Gene can contact you. Thank you.

It's going to be a great turnout.

Just booked my room at the Lake Palestine Resorts. bannana2 My backseat is open. I plan on being on the water at safe daylight. I'm not sure yet where I'll be launching from. PM me if you need a back seat.

Seems like there is broke concrete and rocks around this ramp, is it safe to pull up to bank there somewhere.

I might fish it, not guaranteed yet because I will be leaving out of town the next day, Have to OK it with the wife. If I do I will have a back seat open to take someone that has never been to the lake and just maybe we might catch one or two fish. I fish jigs only though. If ya want minners you will have to bring them. Pepop/Vernon is the only one I know on this forum, never fished with him but have traded texts and phone calls for a few years now.

The other side of the point is all beach. No rocks. By the way the rocks on the ramp side are awesome spawn area in the spring.

The check was mailed today. Wife says she ain't getting up that early so it looks like I have an open back seat. Heck, if someone knows where the fish are they can have the front seat. Have to find an RV park. Trails End was booked up with snowbirds. Never fished on Palestine but sure looking forward to it and looking forward to meeting everyone.

The best place to get minnows closed to where everyone will be meeting at is porters sporting goods. They also have a good selection of tackle. It's right on the side of 155 after you cross the first bridge coming from Tyler. They're 18 bucks a pound, but they're only open from 9 - 6:30. Lake Palestine resort in the back of Ledbetter also sells them for 2.50 a dozen and they have much more accommodating hours. Not sure what they are but they open early and close late.
