If you're on a budget I'd go with a Abu Garcia Veritas or Falcon Bucoo. But if money is abundant, I'd go with a G.Loomis or Dobyns.

Don't know what you want to spend. I have had a Lamiglass for thirty years. Might look at bionic blade from bass pro. I have three of them and they are great rods for the money. Look it up on bass pro and read the reviews.

There was an Abu Garcia Vendetta at my Academy here in Flower Mound this past weekend that looked pretty good at $39.99, but I ended up buying an all-purpose (Crappie/Bass) Ugly Stik GX2 for $29.99. Medium action (6-15 lbs.). Feels really good with my Pflueger President 6935 reel.
