Depends on the plastic i am using

No difference. Angler preference IMHO. I use ball and minnow head and can't tell the difference in bite. Prefer the minnow head though as they move easier through the water when trolling.

I like ball and ball only .. Espeacially
When I'm Tieing jigs .. Ball on my
Rubber jigs .. But the ones with the stopper
On them ..

The reason I am asking is because I have some minnow head jigs when tied with a loop knot hang horizontal where as the ball heads don't.

Many jigheads are not balanced at all...
Might have to use the ol clinch knot on the non balanced heads

I use both...prefer minnow heads, but probably fish with ball head more...with plastics.
