I'm not sure exactly how much was in it a year ago (before the cold winter) but I know it wasn't even close to what it was 5 or 6 years ago. Something else besides cold weather alone has been effecting that lake for a while now and I'd be very interested to know what it is. My guess...all those rich folks in grand peninsula have BIG plans for that lake soon. But if it's a corps lake can they build on it?? Someone out there has more info on this stuff, surely...

The Grass started to go before the cold weather started moving in. I've being told that it was getting to thick around the roped off swimming area' and had to be go. This was right after the deaths of two little kids in the swim area. made recovering their bodies difficult. The grass killing agent can not be contained to just that area. as it travels through the water. If the parent of these kids would just monitor their kids while letting them swim, This could have saved the lives of these children. What a shame.
