mark - what do you have against the next park down, Lake View I think its called?
Park gates usually open at 7:00am, no fee, and a very long and wide stretch of beach to fish from.
Admittedly, there is a flat section before you get to deeper water, but that has been greatly shortened by the drought.

Geekfish ,
I hope you intend to fish this next tournament , we had a good time at the last rodeo . Mark did a damn good job on the tournament . There was lots of great prizes involved and some real nice $$$ for those that did well .
I can not wait until I get another go . Win or lose , you will enjoy the experience .

Geekfish, nothing against it. We are just holding the tourneys at l=places we've fished and had decent luck. How are the results at Lakeside? I seem to remember that it was pretty shallow a year ago when I fished it. That should make it dry land now.

well, yeah, places that had water are dry now....but i guess i figured that made it so you could sit closer to where it drops off if that makes sense....
i have only fished for carp there once and was not successful but it was a pretty rotten, windy day.
mike - my carp time is pretty limited lately. also, making a competition out of something i do to relax and reduce my stress doesnt make a lot of sense to me. hopefully i can come by and learn what i am doing wrong out at cypress springs (0-3, negative net score with all the catfish....) by watching.

I like meadowmear we have caught alot of fish there and there is a ton of bank access all of it able to get to the water the fish are at with tradional gear

Say has a decision been made as to wether or not we will be counting buffs toward total weight?

Actually no. I've dropped the ball on that one. I'll talk to the board and see if each member has decided.

Relic - Good idea! Oh wait....then we'd have to count buffs from all year, and Donnie would have a HUGE head start!
