I caught some snapper before but that's the extint of my salt water fishing so decided to try while down in Port A First time fishing from shore at port A and on my first cast caught this behemoth black drum what a fight I'm hooked after this one fish I thought big blues pulled this was awesome. Going out with a guide for reds and trout this Sunday. And I thought bass fishing was addicting wow! I'm 6'0 240 for size of this thing. I'm still pumped up! First pic held it up high but it started getting lower trying to hold that thing up. Put it back after reviving it and off it swam.

Not far from Port A in Rockport they slam those massive black drum on live crab like crazy. Certain times of the year not sure when but I know they do. Get them off red dot per in corpus to sometimes
