I just picked up this 1999 with 2001 Merc 200 EFI. I am working on restoring oxidized gel coat with wet sand process. Was unable to test boat on water before I bought, but engine has good compression. I could not pass this deal up, 7k and included life jackets, custom cover, and a ton of tackle. If anyone could give me insight on ride and possible speed? Do not know much about Blazer boats but having a lot of fun restoring with my 3 boys! The side by side pic is comparison of gel after sanding(right is before).

steal of a deal and they are generally VERY fast boats ...even with a 200 that thing should scoot along pretty well

I ran a Blazer for a while, I was impressed with mine. It was very solid, plain but very solid ride and had a really good ride is semi rough water. Hard to explain but mine rode better than most until a certain point and then it got to the big stuff it wasn't as good as some.

The one I had with a 300 HPDI was smokin fast. I had some nicks fixed at one of the larger Fiberglass places and the mgr told me Blazer Boats were laid up very good with very good material and really thick Gel Coat.

I got to know the owner of Blazer Boats and they have pretty good service.

I wouldn't have a problem running one of the new 625 wide body boats they make and may go back to Blazer someday.

One thing a 210 blazer will do, it will corner like a NASCAR. The one I had drove like a car.

The down side of a 210, to narrow for a serious tournament boat in my opinion. I just like a wider boat.

Thanks, Billy

Congrats on finding a great deal. Looks great and should serve you well for a long time. I am in my 10th yr with a 92 Champion that about 12 years old when I bought it and could not be happier. It can be worth the time to shop carefully for used bass boats.

Get on fast bass . Com and swap that 200 for a hopped up 225 pro max. 280 hp would be fun!

Should run close to 70 with the 200 put a 250 on it and it should be mid 80's

I owned a 210 in the past. Very good built boats and easy to drive at speed. Fit and finish is sub par, but the boats fish well and will be faster than most mass produced boats. Sounds like you got a good deal, enjoy.
