I have to go to a wedding in Aurora, TX on Saturday night and am thinking about bringing my boat from Midland and staying somewhere between there and midland to fish Sunday and Monday have not been there in years any recommendations on where to stay and launch from.

Go to Possum kingdom chamber of commerce web site and check out cabins east side. South D&D is best launch with lake being low.

check out the lodge at the Harbor, there is also a new low water ramp right there that is much better and less busy than south D&D.

The Harbor is a great place to stay and as said you can launch there. Rooms are about $250 a
night so not sure what your budget is. They also have a great restaurant. Take lots of money.

The harbor looks nice I don't mind spending the extra money and my wife would love it but not sure how well we will fit in with our bass boat with that crowd.

Caddo Cr. Bone bend to Hog bend. For blacks-for stripers I have no idea.

You can hit Hells gate and Neeleys slew, either would be relatively close to scenic point and both are good for both LM and Whites. I fished both last weekend and had constant action in both locations. Just tie on a shad colored square bill and have at it. If you hit Hells gate work the right hand bank all the way to the back of the creek, in Neeleys hit the standing timber on the secondary points. Good luck!

The ramp at bluff creek inside sportsmans world is open. Lots of cabins to rent at the peninsula

I have no idea why photobucket is flipping the pictures upside down Kirbydog thanks for your help the Harbor was a perfect place to stay and the fishing was even better! My 9 year old slayed them made my wife and I look bad when it came to size   And this right outside our door made it so easy with a ramp 100 yds away
