Bring a towel to wipe off your sweat because it is a hot sucker out there. You can still catch some fish way back in the pockets. The cove to the right of the boat ramp produced for my dad last weekend but he said that he primarily caught his fish on a deep water hump to the left of the island Hope this helps

Catfish are plenty this time of year. Yeah it is hot but a little chum, good punch bait and you'll have 25 of them in the boat in no time and enough time left to throw a few crankbait and get those heat-lovin bass!!!! lol
