Heading down this weekend to Rockport. Planning on puting my boat in at Conn Brown and running the shrinp boat channel along 361. Anybody know of any good fishing spots in that area? Thanks.

Chief, what type of fishing you wanting to do? anchored and wait? Active casting? Drift fishing, etc?
Not my area of great experience boat fishing but might be able to give a few pointers if know what type of fishing you hope to do.

Hi Too, Thanks for the reply. The wife will be with me so i would say anchored. We will try an area for about 30 minutes if nothing we will go try somewhwere else.

Shamrock Cove

Hog island is on the left of the Shrimp Boat Channel. That area has been good to me in the past. Be careful the water is shallow around there and they frown on tearing up the Sea Grass.
