This is a warning to all fellow outdoorsman & women. If any of you are considering the purchase of a new or used RV or travel trailer DON'T purchase it from VOGT RV center in Fort Worth Texas! I purchased a slightly used 2001 Jayco 21c travel trailer from them back in 2002 well I need to have a diagnostic service done on my propane water heater and guess what they told me when I called them? "We are sorry but we don't work on anything purchased before 2004" WHAT? Are you kidding me? So they will sell you a nice RV OR TRAILER BUT after 10 years they will no longer service them! THATS JUST STUPID! Be warned spend your hard earned cash somewhere else!

I'm sorry but I don't get any value in your complaint. You're complaining about something that you bought 12 years ago. They now told you they don't work on anything over 10 years old. There are a few automotive dealerships that won't work on older vehicles either. No big deal, make a few phone calls & find someone that will.

Wow that's almost comical. Im with Dave. Its not uncommon for them to not work on old stuff. Been turned down at several boat dealers for service because the motor was too old.
On the older models too much has changed and it is very difficult to find and keep parts available. I wouldn't bash them for that.

13 year old water heater is probably due to be replaced. Probably can't get any parts for the old one anyway.

i'll heed the warning, a company that wont work on a unit they sold is ridiculous no mater how old it is, interchangeable parts will be available, must be nice to pick and chose what will be worked on or not, i guess they have the right to refuse service and you have the right to tell people they refused service. good to know

i can understand both sides. i wouldnt bash them for not wanting to work on older stuff. there are plenty of other reputable places you can get service from

I can see the frustration, Try Lake Fork RV repair. Craig is a good guy and will work on about anything.
