I am hearing anywhere grassy is bueno for bass right now. Any ideas on what all this heavy rain did for the grasslands. I am contemplating checking it out because of high wind sat. I hit Dan's pond up shortly after a rain last year and we did pretty well but I don't even know if Dan's exists anymore. Did decatur get as much rain as ft worth area?

thanks in advance

In the other thread about the grasslands i heard several mentions of Dan's being completely dried up so I would say that would be a no go.

So far Fort Worth got more rain than decatur. I have heard that Clear lake has come up about an inch. Lake Bridgeport has only risen about an inch and half.

For the Lakes here to be affected, we need a good major deluge for several days north, northwest of us to run off into the flood plain.

In all my years of living in Wise County, this drought is the worse I have seen the lakes.

Pray for an end to the drought and pray for the rain

But every little bit helps.
