Don't know if anyone has seen this, but I was browsing through Fly Fisherman's website and stumbled across this.

Fly fishermen are stereotypically trout snobs (though that's quickly changing). I just thought that it was cool seeing a "trash fish" gettin some respect from the trout snobs (though the author of the article is hardly a trout snob).

Whitlock has been espousing the virtues of the bugle bass for a while. I like fishing for carp and I like to think that most reasonable fly fishers are at least open to the idea.

And if they aren't, well screw 'em!

I've been trying flyfishing for a couple years now, and still learning and making mistakes everytime but getting better. Personally, i really dont care what takes my fly, or any other bait/lure for that matter. I have just as much fun catching bluegills as i do carp, bass, catfish, or anything else.

I'm out of my mind, it was smart enough to go fishing or hunting without me.
