I've been very happy with my NUMA Chucks with the bright light bass lens. For $119.99 they are not crazy expensive and they are very tough. Just an FYI - their web site can be a little buggy. www.numaoptics.com

I have been wearing the Magellan from academy, 100.00 and really good glass lens in them. get a chums neck cord for them too, for 6 bucks it is cheap insurance for a pr of glasses. I use a berkley glasses that I got at wally world for about 3.00

I liked my Costa's but I got some Amphibia's and love em. Work good but I have dropped em overboard a few times and they float so no worries.

Not sure what is the best for you but I keep going back to my kaenon Klays or Hard Kores. last foever, great polarization and the optics are excellent. Always surprises me why they are not more popular in Texas and the South but they are excellent. Some guys that worked for Oakley started the company and they are popular out west etc. Lots of pro athletes are wearing them as well. Ton of styles and easy to deal with. www.kaenon.comAll that being said if you don't try on a few different brands you are doing yourself wrong. All our eyes are different and you need what feels and looks best for you.

I have worn Wiley X's, Magellan's, Costa's. Be honest there is not much difference in them but the frames. Magellan's did scratch rather easy.

I use to wear the cheap strike king glasses from academy. Thought they were great. Then got a pair of Costa 580p for a Christmas gift, and what a difference. More clarity, lighter in weight, and over all quality of course. I'm sure the 580g's are even better, but I am happy with what I got. I will buy Costa's again.

Hope you went with the Costas! I need prescription, which cost a bunch more, and smells-like-bass convinced me to try them. Went to Bass Pro an tried on all they had and decided to get the Corbina, 400 bifocal, amber lens, matte black frame. Got them from Kingsley Optical in Dallas since I had to get the script. Probably would have liked the 580 but I don't like progressive and they weren't available in bifocal and the 400 was cheaper and they work just fine for me! I spend maybe 50 or so days on the water a year and Costas will be my only sunglasses from now on! Only wish I had lots of money so I could try different color lenses!

Very hard to beat Costa's, plus the warrant is nice. I sent several damaged pair and they have always repaired to top condition for a few $$ of what a new pair would cost.
