It's been well over a year since we fished at Bridgeport. Last I heard, the only place to put in is at the south end of the lake on the south side of 380/114. Is it still a use able ramp? Is 4wd necessary or can a 2wd pickup handle it? I tried searching the forum for this info but the search function is giving me errors.

I went out last weekend, and you can drop a boat in at runaway bay next to the one stop convenience store. I think they just poured the ramp recently and there were several others loading and unloading boats with ease from what I saw. There is a little gravel pull off road right when you get over the bridge that you will go down to the ramp and a small lot to park.

The ramp to the south between the bridge and one stop is the only one you can get a boat in at unless you have a shallow water boat and 4 wheel drive then you can still put in at wise county park on the beach
