Hey all you anglers out there. Does anyone know who a good guide on Lake Texoma might be. Someone maybe that you have had good luck with or a good experience with. This will be my first time to go on a guided trip on Texoma and I want it to be a good one. Thanks for the advice and have a good day.

When asked about Tex for the last five years or so, I send people to Chris Carey or JD Lyle. The reviews are always stellar.

I would look for someone that fishes it on a regular basis, if your guide is towing further than you are driving, you aren't hiring a guide you are renting binoculars.
It ain't easy making it look easy.

Lyle and Carey are on the water, not the road.

Only fished with JD Lyles, great guide This. Always great trips with JD. I even got to see him take an accidental swim one year out with me and my dad. He was a very good sport about it too. Always had very memorable trips with him and caught lots of fish. The one time we didn't catch as many as he'd have liked he took us out again free of charge even though we had a great time. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for the best on the lake and one of if not the best guide service anywhere. Very good peoples.

I would suggest ....as I have before Doug Keeter Marty Zamora JD Lyle Tim cline Tommy Blanscett Kenneth Holmes. These are great guys and guides, I should know, I work for them on the weekends on group trips or whenever they need an extra boat. Only time I really fish for myself up there is when I'm already there for them and have a void spot to fill. I was unaware of the commute to work had a direct effect on your work abilities. I will keep that in mind for future reference. Guess next time at my favorite restaurant, I will ask and make sure the cook doesn't live to far away and have to drive to long to get there, he has done a super job for years, but will have to find another place, if he has to commute to far to work.
