Took the grandkids to Caddo. Got into some good bluegill and redear. Here are some caught on flies. We caught a couple of hundred on crickets.

Pearow,

Salvinia is down a bunch. I did not see any on the Texas side. I was mostly around Shady Glade in Uncertain, Sand Island and Old Folks Playground. Caught most of the fish in Old Folks.

Someone is building a "greenhouse" on the Shady Glade property to grow some kind of critters to eat the salvinia. Beetles or some such creature. Hope it is successful.

Lots of alligator grass on the lake in spots.

The greenhouse is being built by members of the GCLA & Friends...the beetles have been successful in the tests...a great deal of hard work, money and time is involved in battling the infestation...

I need to get to that lake one day. Heard nothing but good things from there. Nice bunch of fish you got there.
