 Open tournament on Lake Tyler Sat. July 19th 100% payback

I am thinking about putting on a team tournament Saturday from 5:45am to 3:00pm. $60 a team (50 stringer and 10 BB). I am trying to determine if there is enough interest to try. Only need about 8-10 people to make it worthwhile. It would be out of the main marina. Please reply to this post if you are interested.

I have had enough call me to go ahead and say YES WE WILL hold this tournament saturday morning at the main marina. We will start signing up teams (or individuals at the same price) at 5:00 am. You can leave out, but cannot start fishing until 5:45. All fishing must cease at 3:00 sharp (no lure in the water). Be back and in weigh-in line by 3:20. Everyone knows the drill. Tell your friends about it and come on out. I am doing this just because nothing else I like is going on this weekend.

Thanks for the input Kenny. I will poll the guys that fish and see what times they think the next tournament should be. I agree since its gettig hotter they should end sooner. Anyone else have any input into starting and ending hours on the next tournament (whenever that may be)?

We had 9 boats today. Not bad for a short notice tournament. I only decided Monday to do it. 1st place won $450 dollars ad BB won $90. I will adjust the hours on the next one. Several people said that it was too hot after 12:00 so they did not fish.
