Where did I see the device (looks like nail clippers) used for clearing out the paint in the hook eyelet? TIA. CF?

Google jig eye buster. They can be found online, and also at cabelas, bps, academy, walmart etc.

I think BP has one, but I have found small heads doesn't work. Best thing I have found are the little set of dentist tools you can get at Harbor Freight. Come 5 pack for for $3. I bought 2 sets today. I use them for other things and bend them up from time to time, and I pick the paint out of jigs I paint, so I use them quite a bit. At about 60 cents each, I'll tear up a few.

Just thought I'd throw this in:
Jigs when powder painted are hot so with vise grips I hold a needle over a candle until red, push the needle threw the eye and the powder paint disappears..
This will work about 90% of the time...
Just be careful when you powder paint and not get a glob in the eye..
Just my 2cents
JIGUM

My jig eye's are always clear (unless I get careless with the Sally Henson's) cuz when I dip, I hold the jig by the eye with forceps. No Buster needed.

I make sure that if I missed some paint while painting and it clogs the eye I will catch that when tying and I will heat my bodkin and stick it in the eye and it will melt the paint right out. Once my jigs are cured that is the only way that works. Never had an eye buster work on one of my jigs personally! However the hot bodkin will always work! Just make sure to get a bodkin with a sharp needle so it will stick through!
