Yes you can catch whites out of Canyon. This year has been tough because
of the ever prevailing winds. Normally the wind blown points produce pretty
well. It has been really hard to fish the points with the winds this hard
to keep boat control.

I am trying my best to learn the lake. Got my boat a little of a month ago, but so far it seems the fish are really spread out. I have caught a ton of undersized striper out there the last few weeks. I will keep putting in the time to learn it, but tips and hints like this really help.

Hey bigbad, if you are catching striper, you are on the right track.
The whites and striper do not seem to school up in big schools most of
the time.Try working the 25' to 40' depts around humps and points.
Mr.Whiskers, the lake will be buzzing the week end of the forth. Just
be careful.

I should have my TM soon if I can find a good deal on a used one so I can work those humps and drop offs with jigs and slabs. I have seen a lot of fish in the type of areas you mentioned.
