I'm wanting to fish a trail this fall at Dallas and Tyler area lakes(twak, fork, cedar creek, Palestine, etc) and was wanting some ideas. I don't want to fish bud light fall because I don't like seeing guides take money in a tournament on a lake where they guide(which BLT allows for some reason). What are some other trails or clubs that have fall/winter divisions? I know the schedules probably aren't released yet but I was just wanting to know who usually has these seasons

Pros are fine by me. I have no problem with good sticks competing in tournaments. What I don't like is seeing a guide fish in a tournament series that's exclusively on his home lake and win 3 of the 5 events and get in the top 3 in the in the other 2. And that's no exaggeration that exact thing happened on a BLT last year. I have no problem with guides fishing tournaments but I don't agree with them fishing tournaments on the lake(s) where they guide. Just doesn't promote a fair competition if you ask me

What's the difference between a guide fishing it and a local that lives on the lake and fishes it more than the guide? Sounds like you are already beat if you are worried about the guy and not the fish.

Blt just needs to come up with some kind of no jackpot rules. otherwise its just like BC anyone can fish just one or more as they please.
