Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers!
Just wondering how you guys work your jigs. Swim them, jig them off the bottom, put them under a cork? Thanks

we pitch ours mostly let em fall very slowly till they git bit or hit bottom and lift ... let em fall again repeat the process 1/32 or 1/64 sometimes we fish them under a float as well

I have not fished for Sunfish with jigs. For Crappie I have always usually fished em right over the brush pile.

We will swim them, bounce them and slow roll them off the bottom. It really all depends on how the fish want them.

I mainly swim em. Get very good results on both Bluegill and bass.

From the bank, I like to use a big saltwater slip cork. Tie a jig under it and throw it as far as you can. Let it sink and then just bounce it off of the bottom or jig it up and down. Works with live bait, too.
